| 2) 32,213 miles from the odometer. July 13, 2009. 1) Very original 1972 Corvette Stingray. It is a numbers matching 350 cu. in. small block with a 4 speed transmission. It has the premium leather interior with the "wood" accents. It has tilt steering, power windows and air conditioning as the options. Very few air conditioned four speeds exist of this vintage, especially with this low mileage. It starts, runs and shifts well. The vacuum systems,(lights and wipers), work well. The guages and clock work. The AC needs a charge. The seats are original and perfect with no cracks or tears. The steering wheel and shift knob are original. I have original vinyl covers for the T tops and all the manuals,(not original). The power windows work but are slow. The tops fit well and as you know the rear window is removable. You will notice from the pictures that the hood is not correct. It is an aftermarket hood so I bought an original 1972 small block hood. It needs to be painted and installed. The only thing that needs changing is the exhaust as it is tractor loud. A complete Flowmaster header to tailpipe system will be included,(again not installed). I have removed the points and installed electronic iginition. The tires are in great shape with 85% of the tread left. The wheels are original. It passed Missouri state inspection without a problem. There are a couple of minor flaws. There is a crack below the passenger side tail light. I also dropped one of the T tops onto the other after I was putting it on after the pictures, there is a small ding in each of them. It is unmolested, (the valve covers have never even been off!). 30,700 miles. Colors from the trim plate. February 4, 2008. |
